Wedding Diorama

So I love all my Transformers figures. Love them all. Most of my current ones are made by Blokees. I only have 2 Yolopark ones: cog-less D-16 and Orion Pax. All the rest you see on my TikTok and Instagram are Blokees. And I like to collect ships. Having the figure it's amazing, but managing to get a pair????? Even better. I love ships like Megaop, Cygate, Dratchet, Dratchrod, Megarod, and the list goes on. I think shipping is one of the most fun part of being part of the fandom, but everyone is free to have fun in whatever way they want.

So, what do my Transformers figures have to do with a wedding diorama?

I am marrying my figures! I will take wedding style pictures of all my ships and ships of friends because I CAN! I am also planning on taking ship requests on tumblr.

Let's see hoe exactly I made this diorama?

Step 1: room

I am a long time follower of Myfroggystuff. So I just made a room in a box. I decided keeping 3 walls will allow me to add more decorations and take better pics. I covered the walls with plain white paper and added a red "carpet" on the floor to make the room look fancier. Since the walls are white, I added interest by making a layered structure in the back. This broke the plain white and added depth to the room.

White walls, blue floor, red carpet down the middle. The structure is done.

Step 2 Crystals

A friend said I have to at least try to make some crystals. I never worked with resin, so that was out the window. I took one look at my glue gun and saw the clear sticks. BINGO!

I cut the clear glue sticks to look more like crystals. I also cut myself right after I said I will be careful. After I made the general shape, I glued them in clusters of three. I tried some nail polish I had around the house and landed on this red one that kept them looking shiny. Some nail polish made them look matte, which wasn't what I was looking for this time. I also like them red because they match the carpet.

Step 3 Flowers

I went to a local Chinese Store and I picked some purple and pink fake flowers. My mission was to pick small flowers. I wish I found smaller ones, but these look good too. I loved that the flowers could be picked off the stem and look very in scale for the Transformers Galaxy line. The flower also comes off the little stem, which makes everything even better. I only cut or permanently alter a couple of flowers, which is great, cause it means I can reuse them on different projects. I didn't glue any accessories down in the diorama because at the end of the day, I will most likely recycle this diorama into something else (who needs a permanent wedding diorama??) and I want to be able to use the crystals and flowers for other projects.
DONE!

At least this was enough for today. I don't feel like I reinvented the wheel with this project, but I love how it turned out. More pictures in future posts.
